How to put on a heel protector?
The narrow tip of the heel protector is very difficult to push on. Therefore, we recommend the following methods:
- Try to stretch out the top part of the heel protector
- Breathe on the heel protector and then stretch the top part again
- Now try to slide the heel in the protector. Round side first!
Your breath helps the plastic to stretch and the moisture from your breath helps the plastic to slide.
If this method doesn’t work then the other way of getting the heel protector to slide on is to use a blowdryer. Blowdry the plastic for 30 sec to 1 minute and slide it immediately around the heel. In the heat the plastic stretches which makes it easy to slide on the heel. When the heel protector cools down it has a snug fit around the heel.
