How to cut the rope in a correct length?

The rhythmic gymnastics rope come in one standard size and it is left up to the consumers to cut to the proper size.

Tie a knot (preferably a double knot) in one end of the rope. Now step on the middle of the rope to ensure that both ends of the rope reach the underarms. Make sure to tie the same knot as you tied to the other end before cutting.

The correct rope length is when stepping on the middle of the rope and lifting the rope ends up and against your body, then the rope ends should reach exactly the armpits (not lower nor higher than the armpits).
